Wildlifetour Algonquing Park - Hostel

To escape the working live - I was this weekend again on my way out of Toronto. We decided to do a wildlife canoe and camping tour at the Algonquing Park. It was one of the last chances to do that this year because it is starting to get colder here. So enjoy it and pleace keep in mind - IT WAS SO FREAKING HARD BUT GREAT- PUH!!! Lets start the adventure - Markus and Dani the driving and navigation team! Our first stop was a Hostel near the Algonquing National Park - we enjoyed ourselves with the last shower of the weekend and a bottle of read wine.
To get used of the cold - our Outdoor Washroom. Ready to go to bed and to recharge the power for tomorrow - good night!

Wildlifetour Algonquing Park - Canoe Tour

So, we are ready for our first Canoe Tour. As you can see, it was a little bit chilly but so what lets start the adventure. The Ladies, taking the last refreshment before the hard work starts.
To get to our destination Lake, we had to change a few times the lake what means to get out of the water and bring the canoe as well as all you luggage through the "portage" to the next lake.
Me, Stephie, Dani, Markus at on "portage" - prepared for rain (and by the way it was soooo cold)
Our luggage - whe estimated it was around 100 kg.
We arrived - the view from our campsite and to be specific that was the view of our campfire and dinner place ;-)

Wildlifetour Algonquing Park - Camping

Finally we found - after 6 hours canor tour - an suitable place to camp. After 3 hours of preperation and search for woods for the campfire, for we sat down, had Dinner and enjoyed the nice few, the stars - especially the milky way - Dinner and the WINE. Dani, Markus and me on the campfire with a glass of wine.
...mhmhmh..... our delicious Dinner with Steak and vegetables and as desert marshmellows, chocolate on cookies...... mhmhmhm......
For safety reasons we had to place our food and the clothes with wich we prepared the food on a tree in min. 3 m hight to protect it from the wildlife and especially bears.
Us ready to go to bed - Markus, Dani, Stephi and me.
What a cold morning - we had at night about 0 degrees - anyhow we enjoyed our Breakfast with bacon and scrambled egg to get ready for the 15 km back to our car.
